A Letter from David Agarth, CEO
The rapid spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) reminds us all of the vital importance of hospitals, health systems, and caregivers in every community, in every corner of the world. Unfortunately, it seems our most difficult days may be ahead. So, now is an appropriate time to pause, acknowledge, and thank healthcare professionals for their work and courage, and to pray for their safety and wellbeing.
We recognize that circumstances are changing rapidly as more information becomes available about the nature of COVID-19 and its spread. We also recognize that healthcare revenue cycle professionals will be called upon to address unique operating and humanitarian challenges during and in the aftermath of this crisis. And, while our borders and international travel is restricted, there are international patients and families here still visiting or working that will require care. Sunbelt is here to help.
The health and safety of our employees is our primary concern. We’ve been providing guidance and information to our team, along with technology solutions that give flexibility for our staff to perform their work remotely. All employees at higher risk due to underlying health conditions, as well as all employees who wish to exercise an abundance of caution, are now working remotely. Transitioning from office-based to remote location operations is nothing new for Sunbelt. With our headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, FL it is a part of the standard hurricane preparedness plan we’ve deployed a number of times over the years. Sunbelt’s operating capability is fully secure and at full strength.
Sunbelt is thankful and proud to serve the healthcare industry, albeit in a small way, compared to the task at hand. Please feel free to contact us any time, 1-954-568-1068, with questions, or should you need assistance.
On behalf of all of us at Sunbelt Health Partners, thank you for placing your trust in us.
Sincerely,
David Agarth
